Prescription Compounded Topicals—Thoughtfully Selected for Your Skin
If you’re struggling with acne, rosacea, pigmentation, or other persistent skin concerns, over-the-counter products may not be enough. At Azura Skin Care Center, we offer prescription compounded topical treatments selected by our providers to target specific skin conditions with clinically effective ingredients.
These treatments allow us to go beyond standard skin care by offering provider-guided solutions designed to simplify routines and deliver real results.
What are compounded topicals?
Compounded topical medications are prescription treatments created by licensed compounding pharmacies using carefully formulated combinations of active ingredients. At Azura, our providers prescribe from a curated selection of compounded formulas, choosing the most appropriate option based on your skin concern, history, and treatment goals.
What Conditions Do They Treat?
Our prescription compounded topicals may be recommended to help manage:
- Acne, including inflammatory or hormonally driven breakouts
- Rosacea and persistent facial redness
- Hyperpigmentation and melasma
- Post-acne marks and uneven skin tone
- Texture concerns related to breakouts or inflammation
Your provider will determine which treatment option is most appropriate for your skin.
Why Choose Compounded Prescriptions
Compounded prescriptions allow our providers to recommend treatments that go beyond standard retail products. These formulas are designed to:
- Address multiple skin concerns with one prescription
- Reduce the need for complex, multi-step routines
- Deliver prescription-strength treatment under medical supervision
- Support consistency and long-term skin improvement
All compounded topicals are prescribed with professional guidance to ensure safety and effectiveness.
Getting Started is Simple
Your care begins with an in-office visit at Azura Skin Care Center. During your appointment, one of our providers will evaluate your skin, discuss your goals, and determine whether a compounded topical is appropriate for you. If so, an appropriate compounded prescription will be selected. You will then receive guidance on proper use, duration, and expectations.
