What is Sculptra® Aesthetic?
With age, your skin’s natural collagen supply decreases. In fact, by age 45, you’re facing up to 25% collagen loss. Collagen loss causes the skin to lose its elasticity which leads to wrinkles and facial aging.
At Azura, you can activate your skin’s natural regenerative process with Sculptra Aesthetic. Sculptra is meant to restore facial volume and help replenish lost collagen—the most common protein in the body that supports cells and tissue—to bring volume back to your facial features.
Sculptra Aesthetic is made with a biocompatible, biodegradable, synthetic material called poly-L-lactic acid, which is gradually and naturally absorbed by the body and helps to rebuild lost collagen through a series of treatments administered by a trained specialist. In doing so, it subtly and gradually adds volume that lifts the soft tissues and plumps the skin from within.
Results appear gradually and can last up to two years giving you natural-looking results over time. Treatment areas include:
