PRP Facials
We are excited to start offering PRP Facials at Azura Skin Care Center. The most popular areas for this treatment are the face, neck, and décolleté. Medical microneedling, also referred to as “skin needling” or “collagen induction therapy”, is a non-surgical and minimally-invasive treatment for facial rejuvenation that uses a micro-needling device to create controlled skin injury. When medical microneedling is combined with PRP we are able to create new collagen production which minimizes fine lines and wrinkles. PRP Facials use your own blood platelets and plasma on your face. The process begins with a technician drawing whole blood and then using a centrifuge to separate out the red blood cells. The remaining platelet-rich plasma is then used in the facial. After applied, the plasma goes to work. It rejuvenates your face by tightening wrinkled areas and smoothing your skin. PRP’s essential chemical components stimulate collagen growth to give you a more youthful look. PRP contains proteins and these proteins help skin tissue repair itself. PRP Facials can also help treat skin issues related to scarring from trauma or acne, stretch marks, and uneven skin tones.
