When Raleigh teen brothers Connor and Dylan Clark started the CopperSAFE face mask and neckwear company, Azura owner Jennie Kowaleski, PA-C, knew she wanted to support them and buy their masks.
The Cardinal Gibbons High School students started the CopperSAFE company in response to the great need of masks following the inception of the COVID-19 pandemic. Their masks are made with a copper-infused cloth barrier that is very effective in preventing the spread of infectious diseases. According to CopperSAFE’s website, copper is also a naturally occurring antimicrobial and self-sanitizing material. The masks are known to be lightweight and comfortable compared to other masks on the market.

In late June, the CopperSAFE teens gave a $25,000 donation to the WakeMed Foundation in order to help them with their response to COVID. Their new goal is to provide more than $100,000 in financial support to frontline healthcare workers before the end of 2020.
We are proud to know that we made a contribution to the donation and can’t wait to see what Connor and Dylan do for our community next!
