Preventative Skin Care and “Prejuvenation”
We are excited to add MOXI® to our list of laser treatments offered at Azura Skin Care Center. MOXI® by Sciton is a non-ablative laser resurfacing treatment that provides a more gentle approach to radiant skin. MOXI® delivers tonal and textural improvements all while improving the health of the skin. It is suitable for a wide range of areas including the neck, face, hands, arms, and legs, and can treat pigmentation and sun damage, uneven skin tone, and texture. One of the key advantages of MOXI® is it requires less downtime than our popular Halo™ treatment.
Who Is MOXI® For?
MOXI® is perfect for:
- “Pre-rejuvenation” in ages 20 to 40 but appropriate for all ages
- Melasma
- Maintenance after Halo™
- All skin types
This treatment takes about 12 to 15 minutes to perform on your full face. MOXI® can treat all skin types on the face and body including the neck, chest, hands, arms, legs, and face. MOXI® focuses on “prejuvenation” (preventative rejuvenation) and overall skin quality but can also address specific conditions such as pigmentation, sun damage, uneven skin tone, texture, and signs of aging.
How it Works
Specifically designed for younger patients and targeted towards preventative anti-aging measures, MOXI’s fractionated 1927 nm wavelength leaves patients glowing. MOXI comfortably delivers non-ablative laser energy to revitalize your skin by correcting the initial signs of sun damage and aging, no matter the season or skin type. The treatment itself creates micro-coagulation zones in the skin; the body naturally repairs these zones and replaces damaged cells with new ones.
We recommend undergoing a series of three to four treatments to start, with subsequent treatments for ongoing maintenance. MOXI can be performed on its own or in conjunction with other treatments to improve the overall quality of your skin!
